Worst power-cut schedule for Balochistan announced

QUETTA: The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced the schedule of load shedding for Balochistan province on Friday.

According to QESCO officials, the power crisis has increased due to terrorists attacks. The short-fall has reached up to 800 mega watts.

Chief Executive QESCO Mohammad Shafiq Khattak informed media that eight hours load shedding will be carried out in Quetta city, while nearly 16 hours of power cut will be observed in districts. Moreover, the rural areas will face electricity dearth for up to 20 hours. SAMAA
