KARACHI: The police have recovered a Yemeni national, who was kidnapped some two years ago, near Super Highway while arresting 5 accused on Thursday.
According to the police, Muhammad Alfaid was kidnapped for ransom from Defense area in 2008. The kidnappers have asked Rs300 million ransom for the release of the Yemeni businessman.
The police raided a house in Defense and held two suspects in this regard. While on the indication of the detainees, police raided another hideout near Super Highway, recovering Muhammad Alfaid. Meanwhile, the law enforcers also arrested another three accused from the scene. SAMAA
