Jamat-e-Islami's Haroon-ur-Rasheed has links with terrorists: ISPR

BAJOUR: Pakistan armed forces have confirmed the links of Jamat-e-Islami leader Haroon-ur-Rasheed with the terrorists.

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major general Athar Abbas and Inspector General Frontier Corps Major General Tariq Khan said while addressing the press conference in Bajour said that the security forces have taken complete control of Bajour and also told media that former MNA Haroon-ur-Rasheed belonging to Jamat-e-Islami had links with the terrorists and security forces are in search of Haroon-ur-Rasheed. He would be treated according to the law after his arrest.

Major General Tariq Khan told media that the security forces have taken complete control of the Dama Dola, Kunar and Inayat Kilah and its nearby areas.

The local lashkar was also formed in Inayat Kila.

Laiqat Baloch, leader Jamat-e-Islami said while talking to SAMAA that Jamat-e-Islami has no links with Taliban or the terrorists. The security forces are putting wrong allegations against Jamat-e-Islami leaders. He said that jamat-e-Islami does not believe in the violence. SAMAA
