Close aides of Mullah Omar, Mehsud held in Karachi

KARACHI: Close associates of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar and Baitullah Mehsud have been arrested from Karachi.
As per details, intelligence agencies conducted raids in Saeedabad area of Karachi, arresting Mullah Tayyab Populzai and Hakeemuddin Mehsud. Former is said to be an associate of Mullah Omar while latter is a close aide of Baitullah Mehsud.
According to sources, Hakeemuddin Mehsud was hiding in Karachi due to a leadership dispute erupted after the death of Baitullah Mehsud.
Both the detainees have been shifted to unknown place for further interrogation. SAMAA
