.:: SAMAA - Tight security for Chehlum procession

KARACHI: All roads connecting approaching route of Iman Hussain's (AS) Chehlum procession have been sealed and the police have established checkposts along the route. The central procession will come out from Nishter Park at 12:00 pm.

All the mourners coming to attend the procession are being searched and women police officials are posted at the check posts to body search women mourners.

The participants of procession will offer Zuhar prayers in front of Ali Raza Imambargah at M A Jinnah Road.

The procession will follow its traditional route and will terminate it Hussanian Iranian Imambargah at Kharadar.

For the security of procession, heavy contingents of police as well as Rangers will stay with the procession.

Bomb Disposal Squad will also search the route of procession whereas the CCTV cameras will also monitor the procession. SAMAA
