Cabinet to be changed after Eid: Kaira
Upadated on: 29 Nov 09 07:14 PM
Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to make changes in the Cabinet after Eid and the Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has confirmed this news on Sunday.

Kaira said that the decision of making changes in the Cabinet is not related to the NRO in anyway.

"It is not because of the objections to the NRO that people are being asked to resign," said the minister. "After the Supreme Court's notice, the decision about the party minister will be taken."

To another question, he said that Pakistan does not want aid from another country, but wants access to the global markets.

He said that the private TV channel anchors are targetting the President House and the armed forces.

"Pakistan's reputation is being tainted through their criticism," said the minister.

He also said that Pervaiz Musharraf took advantage of the NRO after having talks with Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif regarding the murder of Akbar Bugti and stabilizing the situation in Sindh and Balochistan.

"The PPP will complete its tenure and the country cannot afford mid-term elections," he said. SAMAA
