LAHORE: Fighting broke out between members of the PML-N and the media at a conference Monday.

The PML-N organised the conference to mark the anniversary of Oct 12, 1999 when Gen. Musharraf took power from the elected prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The fighting broke out between activists of the PML-N and certain journalists. Their equipment was damaged.

Khwaja Saad and Sardar Zulfikar Khosa stepped forward to negotiate with the media.

There were about 12 cameramen and reporters from television stations in addition to members from the print media. SAMAA
