Upadated on: 05 Jul 09 04:20 AM
Staff Report

ATTOCK: Security forces arrested a would-be suicide bomber and seized an explosive-laden vehicle, averting a possible major terror attack in Islamabad.

Security forces sources said that the would-be suicide bomber left NWFP in his explosive-laden Shehzore truck, intending to carry out an attack in Islamabad. However, he was intercepted by security forces in Attock and taken into custody.

A few days back, the Interior Ministry had warned security agencies that three explosive-laden vehicles had entered Punjab. SAMAA
